Fully portable multiband lightsource with two cases, one especially for out-of-the-box use on the scene
-
Maximum intensity in the UV, blue and white light
-
Narrow band spectra for chemically treated evidence in the lab
-
60 minutes battery life
-
Manually operated 10-fold filter wheel with filters 320-400nm, 400-700nm, 320-500nm, 400-500nm, 415nm, 440nm, 460nm, 490nm, 550nm, 570nm
-
Intense white light allows for photography without flash
-
Accessories such as the newly designed spectral magnifier with incident and oblique illumination or the different lenses add up to one of the most versatile lightsource systems available
A new lamp technology from Lumatec®, inventor of liquid light guides, made it possible to build this mobile forensic lamp smaller, lighter and more flexible than other multi -band light sources with comparable light power. The SUPERLITE 400 was developed in close cooperation with criminal investigation officers.
A prominent feature of SUPERLITE technology is the 10-fold higher power output in the UV-A wavelength band (320-400 nm) that allows fluorescence examinations during daylight and the illumination of larger evidence areas.
Working with the SUPERLITE Crime Scene Kit shows markedly improved results at the crime scene and in the lab and saves investigation time through better illumination, improved contrast and use of fluorescing technology outside of darkrooms. The lightsource can be operated with an exchangeable battery, which allows for 60 minutes of independent operation, which other lightsources in this power range cannot achieve. With the customized charger it can be recharged with 100 - 240 V AC or 12-24 V DC
(with car adapter cable) power supplies.
Light is delivered through a highly flexible 5mm diameter fiber optic cable that allows for examinations in small recesses or inside containers. The patented magnetic switch provides an on-demand control for the light. The detachable telescopic arm with ball-joint and clip serves as a flexible mount for the light guide giving you hands-free operation.
The light can be controlled with one of three Quartz glass collimating optical attachments allowing for a full range of examination possibilities.
The custom designed line illuminator is helpful for all examinations in oblique light, which improves foot print detection or investigation of surface manipulations on metal structures and its photographic documentation.
The photographic documentation is simplified when in the field by the newly designed spectral magnifier.
Custom Liquid lightguides are available to adapt to existing equipment as borescopes to this lightsource.
