The Coleman Vacu-Print is an economical vacuum chamber designed specifically for the development of latent prints with cyanoacrylate esters (CA). Manufactured from high-tensile strength aircraft aluminum for durability against the harsh cyanoacrylate esters. The optional 1?3 horsepower pump/motor can be used to evacuate air from the chamber. Once a vacuum has been created, cyanoacrylate esters are pulled into the evidence inside the chambers and completely permeates the airspace, processing latent prints in areas that would not be reachable through other fuming or development methods. When finished, the evidence will not have a thick layer of white powder residue, although the latent prints are “locked on” the item.
