These inexpensive, disposable scales were designed for use at crime scenes where the risk of cross-contamination is high, such as scenes where blood spatter is present. The scales are printed on a thick cardstock and can be placed in a photo and left, without significant cost. Each scale is sequentially numbered in bright, red ink. No two scales share the same number, even from different packs of scales, so you can be assured that the scale was only used once at the scene. Each scale is 8.5cm x 5.5cm 33⁄8” x 21⁄8” and includes measurements in both metric and inches.
