The Lightning ® 1-to-1 adapter lens is designed to be screwed easily into the filter threads on the standard 50mm or 55mm lens of most 35mm SLR cameras. When it is in position, it is simple to focus the camera and take a one-to-one ratio photograph of any small object, such as a fingerprint, toolmark, blood stain, or cartridge headstamp. The Lucite cylinder serves as a camera support, camera leveler and as a permanent lens-to-subject distance gauge to provide a one-to-one ratio reproduction. Depending on the focal length of your camera lens, the resulting photograph may not be exactly one-to-one.
