Designed for Atomic Absorption analysis, each collection kit includes cotton swabs in tubes and a liquid chemical. The liquid is put on the cotton swabs and rubbed on the suspected shooter’s hands. The cotton swabs are then placed back into the tubes and sent to the lab for analysis. Everything needed for GSR collection is included in this kit, so it reduces the risk of cross-contamination. Each kit is individually sealed and contains instructions, plastic gloves and an envelope and evidence label for resealing.
