The Digit 10 ® system is the cleanest method of fingerprinting on the market. Utilizing a unique inkless formulation, the Digit 10 ® system produces permanent black prints on any fingerprint card. Simply roll the fingers on the chemically-treated pad, then roll the fingers on the fingerprint card, leaving undeveloped red prints. The cards are then placed in the Digit 10 ® unit with a developer sheet and in approximately 40 seconds, permanent, black fingerprints that meet all FBI requirements will develop. Special high-contrast cards are also available, which produce high-quality impressions that are beneficial when scanning into an AFIS system.

Everything needed to develop quality fingerprints is built into the unit, including a card holder and recessed slot for the finger pad. When not in use, the entire kit fits easily into the included carrying case for easy storage and transportation. Each Digit 10 ® Portable Kit includes one Digit 10 ® unit, one 3" x 41⁄2" Digit 10 ® fingerprint pad, five developer sheets, one box of 500 ReTabs and 50 PrePrint™ coaters. Each developer sheet processes up to 100 individual cards and the special Digit 10 ® fingerprint pad will yield up to 10,000 individual prints. A refill kit is also available which includes a Digit 10 ® fingerprint pad and five additional developer sheets.
