Designed for use in the corrections market and other areas where objects could be used as a weapon, the IdentaPrint ® system is an industrial-grade alternative to the Digit 10 ® system to the left. Composed of a single, steel unit, there is no chance that pieces of the unit could be broken or removed from the unit and used as a weapon. Similar to the Digit 10 ® , the IdentaPrint ® system uses a special chemically-treated fingerprint pad to produce permanent, inkless black fingerprints on any type of paper. Simply roll an individuals fingers on the IdentaPrint ® fingerprint pad and roll the finger on any standard fingerprint card as you would with an ink system. Then place the card inside the IdentaPrint ® unit with a developer sheet and process. Within about 40 seconds, your card will be ready for submission. The IdentaPrint ® finger pad has a flanged base for mounting to a desk or counter top. Each unit will produce up to 1000 cards. The refill kit includes a replacement pad and 10 developer sheets.
