UV-absorbing goggles and face shields are specially designed to eliminate blue haze, improve contrast between areas of fluorescence and the background, and most importantly, to protect the eyes from harmful ultraviolet light. The goggles and face shield provide maximum protection from exposure to extended or high-intensity UV sources and meet ANSI specification Z87.1 for safety eyewear and OSHA standard 1910.133 for eye and face protection. The face shield is recommended for persons using short wavelength lamps due to the extra skin hazards involved.
