Mini Spin Baskets are exceptionally useful for many centrifuge-mediated sample prep applications. Their 850µl internal volume is ideal for gel filtration, chromatography and nuclei acid purification. They can be modified by adding porous frits or retainer rings and membranes. They are designed for use with AxyPrep 1.5ml or 2ml capped microfuge tubes when capping during centrifugation, but will fit most 1.5ml and 2ml microfuge tubes.
Spin Baskets are also available in a 1.5ml or 2.0ml combo kit, which includes 500 spin baskets and 500 AxyPrep Capped Microtubes.
