While it does not contain information on lasers or AFIS computers, this is an excellent, comprehensive book on the basics of latent print development techniques which should be the foundation of study for every latent print examiner. This book includes information which you cannot find in other textbooks on the subject and includes a comprehensive bibliography. This book is required reading for the IAI Latent Print Examiner CLPE and Ten-Print Certification programs.
