Probably the safest in the world, the range of Purair™ Ductless Fume Hoods have been designed to provide maximum protection when used in the weighing, chemical sampling, histology, forensic and pharmaceutical use of hazardous substances. A face velocity of 100 fpm ensures fume containment, and each unit features an automatic low airflow alarm. All mechanisms in the head section of the Purair™ are on the clean side of the filter, thus preventing contamination. Switches and electrical components are completely isolated from the dirty airflow and away from any contamination. The work area has a removable spill tray for easy cleaning.
Optional integral lighting is also available.

Wide Filter Selection:
Two filter styles are available. For use with particulates such as latent print powders, a HEPA filter should be used. Otherwise, a hydrocarbon filter should be used to filter vapors from chemicals and solvents. A combo filter is also available if both chemical vapors and particulates are involved. In addition, the Purair™ can be equipped with a secondary backup filter for added protection. The chemical-resistant, epoxy-coated steel superstructure confers unsurpassed strength (polypropylene also available). The pre-filter is changed from inside the enclosure preventing any particulate hazards. The clear back and side panels allow for 360 degree visibility.
