Sophisticated Visualization, Documentation, Measurement and Archival Software
Providing a number of different image enhancement options, PIA-6000 is the ideal software suite for image visualization and enhancement. Designed with firearms, toolmark and document examiners in mind, PIA-6000 features multiple comparison modes, including split image comparisons of live images against images stored in a library or comparisons of two captured images. A captured image can even
be laid over the top of a live image, for full-screen comparisons of minute features.
Integrated measuring functions allow the user to easily measure lands and grooves, stria, incidental marks, angles, ovals and circles. In addition, stored images can be easily annotated for evidentiary documentation and court presentations.
A wide range of adapters are available for 35mm SLR cameras, digital cameras and video cameras for those wishing to use their own cameras with the software.

PIA-6000 Includes:
Measuring functions: length, parallel, circles, areas, angles, rectangules, ellipses, etc.
Fade-in of reference scales, concentric circles and grid
Horizontal and vertical mirroring functions
Stepless rotation from 0° to 360°
Side-by-side horizontal, vertical and adjustable split comparisons of live and stored images
Transparent superposition of live and stored images as a positive or negative
Transparent superposition in complementary colors (red/green)
Chopper image toggling function (quickly alternate between full-screen images)
Magnify-window function
Brightness control, contrast enhancement, chroma adjustment and noise reduction
Negative image display
Database management (album archive)
AVI function for recording and playing video sequences (especially useful when examining kinegrams and holograms)
