Manufactured to Swiss engineering standards, the CSL-700 Crime Scene Lamp by Projectina® is one of the finest and most powerful handheld light sources on the forensics market. Designed to be used independently of a power supply at the crime scene or laboratory, the lamp is ideal for physical and/or trace evidence investigation.
The CSL-700 features your choice of three light filters, integral to the unit. This means that you can easily switch between the most common wavelengths of light with the twist of a dial. No need to swap heads or purchase additional units. The unit is available with two different filter combinations for either field or lab use.
The LED light source has built-in intensity control for 100% or 70% operation, as well as a high-intensity spot setting which provides and incredible 150% light intensity for up to 20 seconds. The LEDs used in the CSL-700 were specially selected for their intensity and light purity and produce a collimated beam with a 6° divergence, producing a consistent, even light. The lifetime of the LEDs are guaranteed for 50,000 hours.
Equipped with a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery pack, the CSL-700 has a 110-120 minute battery life at 100% intensity and an amazing 150 minutes at 70% intensity. The battery has no memory effect and can be fully charged in roughly 90 minutes.
